Membership And Trip Sign-up Event

This is an informal chance to get free food and drink, join the club (please bring along any friends who are interested in joining), speak to committee members, organisers, leaders and drivers, find out more about this term's trips and sign up for trips.

If you cannot come but would like to sign up for a Club Trip (Weekend Trip or Minibus Day Trip):

• First read the important information about Weekend Trips and/or Minibus Day Trips.
• Then you must send a cheque made payable to "OU Walking Club" to the Trip Organiser by the end of 1st week.
• Trip places will be allocated at a meeting shortly thereafter. If a trip is oversubscribed, a ballot is used to allocate trip places.
• Places on any trips that have spaces remaining after the end of 1st week are usually filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you do not get a place on any trip you sign up for this term, your name will be kept for a priority list for next term's trips. Trips may occasionally be cancelled for several reasons, including under-subscription, lack of drivers, or some other unforeseen circumstance. Feel free to contact the relevant Trip Organiser or the Trip and Safety Coordinator (trip.safety(a)ouwc.org) with any queries.

Remember that you may go on any of our Local Walks without having to sign up in advance.
