About Weekend Trips

Most of the trips leave Oxford on Friday afternoon and return late on Sunday in order to make use of two days for walking. The stated price includes transport, accommodation for two nights, and every meal except those during the journey. Please note that due to the club having to commit money to organise the trips, once you have paid for your place your money cannot be refunded unless the place is subsequently filled.

Although there will be time to take a photo or two, please note that walking rather than sightseeing is emphasised on these trips. For the safety of the group, the Trip Leaders will refuse participation to anyone who is inappropriately equipped.

How To Sign Up For Trips

To sign up for trips please come along to the Free Tea in 1st week, where you can talk with the Trip Leaders to find out more about the trips and then decide which ones you want to sign up for. If you cannot come to this event but would like to sign up for trips, then please send a cheque made payable to "OU Walking Club" to the Principal Trip Leader by the end of 1st week.
