Trip Availability and Drivers Needed
Trips which have places available on them are listed here. To sign up for a trip, contact the Principal Trip Leader listed on the page for the trip you wish to go on. Remember that you may go on any of our Local Walks without having to sign up in advance.
Leaders needed (Mini-bus day-trips):- Wenlock Edge: Saturday 24th May (end 5th week)

Trip Planning Meeting
Tuesday 13 November (6th Week)
*Remember that anybody who has been on a trip before can be a Trip Organiser.* Please do come along with suggestions and offers of help (organising/leading/driving). If you can't come, please send any suggestions or offers of help to trip.safety(at)ouwc.org in advance of the meeting, they'll be much appreciated. The pub meet will follow this meeting at about 7:30pm. Time: 19:00 (immediately before the pub meet) Location: Seminar Room, Denys Wilkinson Building (Physics), Keble Road (If you're going to be late let me know and I'll give you my mobile number so you can be let in!) |
| 10/10/2007 | FREE TEA NEW VENUE Free Tea will now be in the Beer Cellar at Trinity College today from 5-6. Directions: Trinity is on Broad St, opposite where Turl St goes off. The beer cellar is under the dining hall, in the second quad on the left. Go into the hall, then downstairs. |

| 7/10/2007 | Local walk subsidies There will be no subsidies for local walks this term - this is a trial in response to the survey comments and to make things easier for the local walk leader. Membership changes
We've changed the membership structure to make things simpler, in response to the survey results and to ease any possible affiliation with the British Mountaineering Council (BMC). There is now
only one type of membership that lasts for one year.
All current memberships will expire when they would under the previous system. |

Survey
This year, as you'll be aware, we've been looking at ways to change how the club operates, in particular how weekend and minibus day trips are run. As one way to decide how to move forward we've come up with a couple of surveys to gauge opinion. Please do take time to complete them - it is *your* club and the committee wants to find out what you think. The more people who respond the more useful the surveys will be! | 18/10/2006 | Drivers needed and trips availability There are some places available on the Yorkshire Dales weekend trip and the South Downs and Wenlock Edge minibus day trips. There are two drivers required for the Dartmoor weekend trip.The South Downs and Wenlock Edge need a driver each. |

| 14/5/2006 | Local walk change on Saturday 20th May The local walk for Saturday 20th May is now 'Water Lot of Lakes' (as replacement for the Isle of Wight Walking Festival). The change is as follows: Water Lot of Lakes Saturday 20th May (end 4th week) The walk begins at Cricklade, and heads toward the largest complex of man-made lakes in the UK (apparently there are 132 of them!).
