New Forest

Saturday 12 June (end of 7th week)

Area: New Forest
There are still places available on this trip
(Contact the trip organiser for more details)

The walk will take place in the area between Bolderwood and Lyndhurst, and will go via some of the best of the New Forest's landmarks: the Portugese fireplace, the Knightwood Oak and the Bolderwood Deer sanctuary. The route will follow well maintained paths through largely wooded areas. It is likely to be quite hot, but for most of the day we will be shaded by the trees. The New Forest is leisurely walking and has no high hills, scrambling, etc.

Organiser: Nic Freeman (nicholas.freeman_a_st-annes.ox.ac.uk)
Leaders: Nic Freeman, Alan Iwi
Depart: 8am sharp from Trinity gates.
Date: Saturday 12th June.
Return: ~9pm in the evening.
Cost: £10.
