Roaches Minibus Day Trip

Saturday 3rd May 2008 (end 2nd week)

Area: Peak District
This trip is full

Join us on this trip to an OUWC favourite, about as far away as you can get from Oxford in a day! The Roaches are a gritstone escarpment rising to over 500m in part of the Staffordshire Peak District, a rugged area of rock and heather moorland. Popular with both walkers and climbers, highlights include Lud's Church - a natural rock cleft speculated to be the legendary Chapel of the Green Knight, where rock outcrops have been carved into weird and wonderful shapes.
