n of Andrew's 30th OUWC weekend trip! We'll be staying at
Kelynack camping park in the cot valley and have bunkhous
e accommodation. This base\, just a mile from the coast in
a secluded valley\, is in the far west of Cornwall and wil
l be ideal for exploring the picturesque coastline and rel
axing on the beach. We hope to eat ice cream\, visit Land'
s End and also to see the legendary Minack Theatre... what
more could you ask for?

DESCRIPTION: The Carneddau Mountains comprise contain 7 “Welsh Munrosâ€
ť and are one of the quieter areas Snowdonia. From our bas
e at Yr Hen Neuadd in the centre of Bethesda\, we should be
able to walk straight out onto the mountains to explore t
he northern half of the range. This trip should be the pe
rfect opportunity to escape Oxford for two full days in th
e mountains before exams start at the end of term.

DESCRIPTION: Helen and Christopher will be heading to the Cambrian Mounti
ans in mid-Wales. Though less often visited than Snowdoni
a to the North or the Brecon Beacons to the South\, the Cam
brian Mountains offer beautiful scenary and challenging wa
lking. We will be staying in a barn at the foot of the Pl
ynlimon mountain\, the highest peak in central Wales\, which
we are hoping to climb. We also hope to go to the Elan V
alley Reservoirs\, an area notable for its wildlife\, which
may provide views of the endangered Red Kite.
