Snowdonia
31st October - 2nd November (end 3rd week)
Area: Snowdonia
Northern Snowdonia is simply littered with great mountain scenery and endless amounts of challenging walking. From our base at Cefn Garw hut in Pentrefoelas, we plan to explore some fine ridge walks which could include Y Garn, above the impressive Cwm Idwal, carved out by glaciers, and the little-known gem that is the Nantlle ridge. The weekend should be a great opportunity for some ambitious outings in beautiful surroundings.
Please note that this is a trip for those who want to do some serious mountain walking: we plan on a significant ascent each day, often on rough and rocky ground,
and we may well be off paths for some of the time.
