Cannock Chase
Saturday 10th November (end 5th week)
This trip is fullJoin Christopher on a visit to a new area for the Walking Club: Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Staffordshire. The Chase is a mixture of woodland and open heathland (a scarce and important habitat, the largest surviving area of lowland heathland in the Midlands) with a wide range of landscape and wildlife, including a herd of deer. We aim to explore some of the area on this day trip.
