Mendips Minibus Day-trip

Sunday 30th November (8th week)

Join James and Deb for a walk in the Mendip Hills, in North Somerset. The circular walk we plan to take starts and finishes in Cheddar Gorge, famous for its caves and geological features. We aim to climb the 274 steps of Jacob's Ladder, as well as reaching the summit of Beacon Batch, which at 325m is the highest point in the Mendips. The walk will also take us through the intriguingly named Velvet Bottom Nature Reserve, and Rowberrow Warren. We will be stopping for a pub lunch along the way, so bring a small amount of money...
