Lake District Weekend Trip

28th - 30th November (end 7th week)

Kate, Tom and Andrew will be exploring Borrowdale, and England's highest mountains. Highlights in the area include Scafell Pike (England's highest peak at 977m), the spectacular Wast Water and many isolated valleys, rivers and tarns. Staying at the Dinas Hoggus camping barn in the hamlet of Rosthwaite there are many possibilities. We hope to climb Great Gable (899m), and to see some of the dramatic views that make this area so popular, while it is at its emptiest, before winter closes in!

Principal Trip Leader:Kate Filochowski, St Hilda's
