Wonder-fall In The Berwyns Weekend Trip

14th - 16th November (end 5th week)

Join Richard and Laura to explore the high, heather-coated moorland and deep valleys of the Berwyns. Situated just outside the SE corner of the Snowdonia NPA, the area offers pleasant and only moderately demanding walks. Highlights of the weekend will be the beautiful 74m waterfall of Pistyll Rhaeadr (the highest in Wales and one of the 'Seven Wonders of Wales'), the dramatic ridge walk across Cadair Berwyn (827m) and Arenig Fawr, with excellent views across the entire Snowdonia NPA. Accommodation for the weekend is Cefn Garw, a comfortable and well equipped hut owned by the Oxford Mountaineering Club.
