Drivers

Most Weekend Trips and Minibus Day-trips need to have at least two minibus drivers before they go ahead, so drivers are vital to the club. Trips that don't have enough drivers have to be cancelled. In order to drive minibuses for the club, you have to have taken the University Minibus Driving Course, which allows you to drive any minibus under the university scheme (so it counts for other clubs you're a member of too). This course is free to walking club members, and drivers are guaranteed a place on all the club trips they want to go on. So, if you are aged 21 or over, have been driving for at least two years, and have a clean driving licence, then it'd be great if you'd consider helping out with the driving on the trips you go on. If you are interested in taking the course, contact secretary(at)ouwc.org.
