Exmoor

2-4 February 2007 (end 3rd week)

Area: Exmoor
This trip is full

Join Christopher and Zing for a weekend in Exmoor. We'll be staying in Northcombe camping barn near Dulverton which has spectacular views across the moors. Despite being one of the smaller national parks, Exmoor offers a varied range of distinctive landscapes. There's excellent walking: rugged open moorland, wooded valleys and the dramatic cliffs on the coast and we'll explore some of these areas on the trip. As well as extensive views (weather permitting!) over Exmoor and the Bristol Channel we may also get to see red deer and ponies.
