Roaches

Saturday 25th February (end 6th week)

Part of the Staffordshire Peak District, a rugged area of rock and heather moorland - the Roaches form an impressive gritstone escarpment rising up over 500m. Popular with both walkers and climbers, highlights of the area include Lud's Church - a natural rock cleft speculated to be the legendary Chapel of the Green Knight. Join Dom and James for a fantastic route via Lud's Church to the summit, with fine views, where rock outcrops have been carved into weird and wonderful shapes.
