Mendips

Sunday 6th February (start 3rd week)

The first minibus day trip of term will be heading out to the Limestone Mendip Hills in Somerset. Andrew, Quentin, Matty and Liz will lead this fine walk to Wookey Hole and Ebbor Gorge Nature Reserve. Owned by the natural trust, this lovely wooded area reveals evidence of inhabitation dating back to Neolithic times. There are lots of caves to explore and fine views over the Somerset Levels. We are also hoping to visit the famous Cheddar Gorge to round off what will be a fine day out.
