11th - 13th March (end 8th week)
Tom, Matty, John and Laura will take the second trip to the Lake district this term, staying in a camping barn just south of Kendal (sleeping bags needed). On the Saturday we are planing walks up Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, which has stunning views of the Lakeland scenery from the summit. On Sunday we are planing to attempt a challenging grade 1 scramble up Jacks Rake to Pavey Ark. There is an alternative route to the top for those not keen on the scramble which we will only atempt in good weather conditions.
